A Timaru man had a hard time convincing his wife that he was not to blame for the pornographic photos she found amongst family snaps she was printing off.

The woman went to The Warehouse to print the pictures but was met with about a dozen sexually-explicit images.

She immediately went home and accused her husband of being responsible for the pornography.

The confused bloke opened the files in front of his disgruntled wife but all the nude pictures had disappeared.

The Warehouse chief operating officer Richard Lewis confirmed it was the shop’s fault and illicit images had been found on the store's photo kiosk.

He said the material popped up because another customer forgot to complete a transaction.

No word yet on if the husband received an apology from his wife.
