Models in revealing outfits at a China's Chengdu motor show have caused outrage and a warning from the Chinese government about appropriate attire.
A report by Car New China stated that the organisers of the show had been issued with a reprimand from the government over the amount of flesh shown by models posing for Kia, Citroen and Toyota.

Stunning promotional models have long been a staple at motor shows, however this particular event saw ladies in mesh and tiny skin-coloured bras.
One model standing by Toyota's Camry range was taken away after journalists spent more time photographing her than they did the vehicle.

A woman working for Citroen also raised eyebrows. She was working as a "booth professional" but was dressed in stockings with garters visible.
This year's Beijing motor show also caused offense and was issued a similar reprimand notice.
