New Zealand Fashion Week kicked off on Tuesday day with little drama, few gimmicks or hoopla and just solid collections sure to sit well with the buying public. It appears the focus this year is firmly on selling, which makes sense in the tricky current retail environment, but makes for less exciting media coverage.
